Summer Camp Overview

Florida Youth Conservatory Summer Music Camp 2000

June 19th Thru July 28th

A six week camp session.

Regular Camp Hours: 9:30am-4:30pm Monday thru Friday (Except Holidays)

FYC campers perform in everything from full and chamber orchestras to wind and jazz ensembles. Campers also participate in a number of activities such as music theory and appreciation, small ensembles, field trips, solo contests, music activity labs which include movies, music mind games, and much more!

Campers will also have the pleasure of recording their own CD, preserving their camp experience forever. Just ask any of our returning campers how much they enjoyed their CD experience!

Each camper has the unique chance to meet and work closely with FYC's faculty of professional educators, performers, clinicians and guest artists. The camp will present its full final concert performance at the spacious Coral Springs City Centre. To request a camp brochure, please contact the FYC office. The FYC Summer Camp 2000 is located at the Coconut Creek campus of the North Broward Preparatory School.

Guest Artist Series

Each Summer, the FYC features several renowned Guest Artists throughout the entire camp session. Campers are exposed to the world of performance, as seen through the eyes of the professional. In-depth master classes, side-by-side rehearsals, and open discussion forums are among the numerous benefits each camper gains through the FYC Guest Artist Series.
