TIMOTHY S. BYRNS (Cello, Chamber Music, Member of Arcangelo Piano Quartet, Ensemble-in-Residence) Timothy S. Byrns attended Eastern Kentucky University in addition to the New World School of the Arts where he studied chamber music with the Miami String Quartet and Maestro Felix Galimer. Mr. Byrns performed as solo cellist on an extensive European tour of "West Side Story". He serves as a music consultant for the Broward County Florida School Board for Cello and Chamber Music as well as an International Music Consultant for the Community Music Center in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Mr. Byrns is Assistant Principal Cellist in the Palm Beach Pops and Associate Principal Cellist with the Symphony of the Americas. He has performed as Guest Principal Cellist for the Budapest Chamber Orchestra. Most recently Mr. Byrns recorded selections from a world tour in which he served as Guest Principal Cellist with the Hungarian Virtuosi.
JAY BYRON (Elementary Winds, Jazz Studies, Brass)
IZABELA COHEN (Violin, Chamber Music, Member of Arcangelo Piano Quartet, Ensemble-in-Residence ) Winner of International Young Violinists Competition in Lublin, Poland. Received scholarship to attend Warsaw Conservatory. Positions previously held with Mexico City Philharmonic, soloist with Varsovia Chamber Orchestra, Concertmaster of Dominican Republic National Orchestra. Attended Los Angeles Philharmonic Institute under the direction of Leonard Bernstein, Michael Tilson Thomas. Studies with Heiicheiro Ohyama, Peter March, Menahem Pressler. Currently member of first violin section of the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra.
IRENA KOFMAN (Piano, Member of Arcangelo Piano Quartet, Ensemble-in-Residence) Studied at Moscow State Conservatory. Awarded First Prize in the International Chamber Music Competition in Latvia. Extensive touring of the Soviet Union and United States as a chamber musician and soloist. Currently on the faculties of Florida Atlantic University, University of Miami, where she is presently completing the Piano Doctorate Program.

DENNIS NODAY (Trumpet, Jazz Studies, Leader of The Dennis Noday Big Band, Ensemble-in-Residence) Former lead Trumpet player with Stan Kenton and Maynard Ferguson with numerous recording credits. Performances with Chicago Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra, Mt. Sac Jazz Renegades, Airmen of Note, Maynard Ferguson Reunion Band. Served on faculties of Texas All-Star Jazz Camp, Florida Youth Conservatory Summer Music Camp. In 1995, founded the Dennis Noday Big Band (dedicated to the memory of Stan Kenton).

KENNETH STRATTAN (Wind Ensembles, Low Brass, Theory/Composition) Diploma Berklee College of Music, B.S. Clarion State College. M.F.A. Milton Avery School of the Arts-Bard College. Composition studies with Joan Tower, Elie Yarden, Michael Gibbs. Compositions have received performances by Joan Tower, Hudson Valley Woodwind Quintet. Member of Hora Decima Brass. Former Director of Gold Coast Brass Band; Assistant Director of North Miami Community Concert Band; Fine Arts Department Chairperson & Instrumental Director at St. Thomas Aquinas High School.

YANG XI (Violin, Viola, Chamber Music, Member of Arcangelo Piano Quartet, Ensemble-in-Residence) Studied at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, China where he was awarded First Prize in the National Violin Competition. Awarded scholarship from Indiana University School of Music and pursued studies with James Buswell, Josef Gingold and Nelli Shkolnikova. Currently member of the first violin section of the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, Principal Viola of the Miami Chamber Orchestra.

Currently Principal Violist with the Palm Beach Opera Orchestra, The Palm Beach Pops, The Miami Symphony; Artist-in Residence, Palm Beach School of the Arts.

MYRNA MEEROFF (French Horn, Chamber Music) B.M., M.M. The University of Miami. Member of the Florida Wind Symphony, Southwest Florida Symphony, Palm Beach Opera, Hallandale Symphony, Symphony of the Americas. Former member of the Bahamas National Opera, New World Symphony, Miami Symphony Orchestra. Extensive work as a clinician/director for numerous youth music organizations throughout South Florida.
MARY NODAY (Oboe, Chamber Music) B.M., M.M. University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. Former member of Miami Opera Orchestra, Ft. Lauderdale Symphony. Performances with the Boca Pops, Palm Beach Opera. Served on faculty of University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, currently at Barry University, Florida Youth Conservatory Summer Music Camp. Currently principal Oboe of the Symphony of the Americas, Treasure Coast and Gold Coast Opera Companies.

LINDA SHAPANKA (Elementary Instrumental Music-Strings) B.A. Hartt College of Music, continuing education in Kodaly, Orff and Suzuki. Served on faculties of Conservatorio de la Orquesta Filarmonica and Collegio Internacional, Caracas Venezuela; Lansing Community College, Michigan. Former Director of Fine Arts, Dave and Mary Alper JCC, Miami.
PHIL SHAPIRO (Clarinet, Chamber Music) B.S. and M.S. University of Miami. Post-graduate studies in Rome at Conservatory Di Santa Cicilia. Principal Clarinetist with Miami Symphony Orchestra. Member of Symphony of the Americas, Miami Chamber Symphony, Tropical Wind Quintet. Recording for major motion picture "I'm Losing You", toured Japan with the New Sousa Band. Serves on faculties of Florida Atlantic University, Florida Youth Conservatory Summer Music Camp. Buffet-Crampon performing artist/clinician.
