The FYC is proud to introduce its new Twinkler Summer Workshops-specifically for Elementary School aged musicians. These fun-filled learning experiences encourage musical learning and give these youngest musicians the chance to interact in a positive manner. To request a summer brochure, please contact the FYC office. The FYC Twinkler Workshops are located at the Lighthouse Point campus of the North Broward Preparatory School.
Each session runs for one week from 9:00am-12:00pm daily (except Holidays)
June 26th-30th (Ages 6-10)
This program provides the opportunity for students to make friendships and share music with other string players while sharpening their performance skills.
July 24th-28th (Ages 9-12)
The Twinkler Band program is designed to bring together brass, woodwind and percussion players in a traditional band setting. Campers will have the opportunity to work together in an educational, yet fun setting, exploring the vast realm of band literature.
June 19th-23rd (Ages 6-10)
Young children sing enjoyable music while learning to use their voices properly. Campers will work on delightful music, combining song and movement.

Enrollment Requirements: Campers must be between the required age groups. Students are required to supply their own instrument and have at least one year of previous music instruction.
Who can Enroll? Young musicians who play any of the following instrument types: Wind Instruments, Stringed Instruments, Percussion Instruments or Voice. (Sorry, Piano not offered at this campus)
Snacks: are provided daily at the workshop.
Deposits/Fees: Registration is Free! Total tuition for each one-week camp workshop is $200. A non-refundable $50.00 deposit is required to hold child's placement in camp. This deposit fee is applied to the total Camp tuition of $200.

Literature/Enrollment Packet: Once requested, a brochure will be mailed out with an enrollment form on the back. Return completed enrollment form and submit the $50.00 deposit to FYC. Once received, FYC will send the Full Workshop Package which includes Camper Handbook, and time-sensitive forms which must be completed and mailed back to FYC.
Camp Tuition Includes:
- All printed music
- All professional instruction from the FYC faculty (excluding private instruction)
- One Camp T-shirt
- Daily snacks
- Final Concert Recital for Campers
- End of Camp Party!
Private Instruction: Private Instruction is available for an additional fee of $25.00 per half hour. Instructors will contact you to arrange lesson times. Be sure to note on FYC Forms if you are interested in receiving private instruction.
FYC Staff members Our staff includes: Camp Directors, Counselors, Music Instructors, and Assistant Counselors and Instructors. All FYC employees have undergone extensive background screening and drug testing PRIOR to employment.
